ABOUT US

Founded in 1997, Decision Digital is a comprehensive information technology services firm with a referral-only, global client base across numerous industries and vertical markets. We are driven by listening, proven processes and practical experience. • RICK HARBER

    FOUNDER AND CHIEF PROBLEM SOLVER

Nine. The age it all began. An Apple II at school and a Commodore 64 at home. Hours spent reading, learning and programming…all to satisfy a boundless immersion in technology and raise concerns with his parents. Rick's decompression chamber is his wood shop and some good jazz music.

  • ROB HOWARD

  • JOHN BYTEL

    OFFICE MANAGER

An aficionado of fine things, John is one of the world's most interesting men. His passion for food is only surpassed by his love of music. Rare is a time at the office where he is not found playing music or consuming it. John has contributed his skills and influenced the unique culture at Decision Digital for over a decade.

  • GEORGE COPELAND

    SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

Getting his Atari 800 Home Computer in 1982 sparked a life long love and interest into the field of computers. Jerry has been working in, around, and with computers ever since. When he is not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, and of course, collecting vintage computers and video games.

  • HELEN FRANKS

    NETWORK ENGINEER

Helen is our California girl who comes from the city where martial arts legend Chuck Norris is a pretty big deal. Helen-at-work is someone with a laid back yet determined disposition, a high attention to detail, and an unending desire to do right by our clients. Helen-at-play is that person that seems to find a way to balance her never-ending desire to soak up more IT, her undying passion to master softball, and her hero-like rescuing of helpless kittens...with the same tenacity and disposition you would find in her work life. Helen is just...well...Helen!

  • FRANK HUMMEL

    SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

Computers, sailing and shooting have been Frank's passions since he was 2. He sailed completively for six years in the J22 fleet and competed in IDPA. Frank enjoys the journey as much as the destination. While these three passions seem to be worlds apart, they all require precision and accuracy. The reward of doing it right is what makes it worthwhile.

  • HANNAH WENTZ

    NETWORK TECHNICIAN

Hannah's daytime grappling and ground fighting approach to IT is no doubt inspired by her blue-belt status in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. On any given weekend, you can find her "rolling" (aka sparring as it is known in the BJJ community). By the way, don't ever say that jiu-jitsu is merely another martial art. For her, it is a way of life.

  • LANCE WALLACE

    SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

Some 25 years ago, when the world was ruled by Novell, Lance got his start in IT. After two decades up North, he succumbed to the calling of every New Yorker: Miami. Deep sea fishing and travelling became a big part of his life. Prior to joining us, he was a contract IT specialist in the Persian Gulf. It is there he also honed his skills as an international tiger trainer.

  • ERIC PACKHAM

    THE NUMBERS GUY

Eric has an Oscar-eque trophy labeled “Renaissance Man” in his minimalist abode. The trophy is the derivative of his varied life accomplishments. He was an accomplished pianist in his teen years, a phlebotomist turned massage therapist as a young adult, and wore several hats in business administration positions while simultaneously moonlighting in the burgeoning Atlanta film industry. Eric's mastermind approach to everything translates into an unparalleled attention to detail. Kind of a big thing when it comes to keeping the books straight while moving him closer to a monk-like lifestyle in Scandinavia.

  • RUSSELL STEEN

    RULER OF CODE

While Russell spends many an hour writing our SQL, .NET and other application code, his other passion is hiking outdoors. This is Russell's "analog" activity, allowing him to use his mind, his hands, and his sense of exploration, without the aide of a keyboard. That is, except, to map out how to get to the hiking grounds.

  • STEVE MILLER

    DIRECTOR - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Steve has a collection of regular hobbies that include light carpentry, pottery (vessels primarily), and figurative sculpture in clay. But really, his hobbies have all been usurped by shuttling his daughter to and from school, swim lessons, play dates, and other activities.
